What happened?
looks like authentication token expired, nothing serious
I'm not sure how to fix this.
It does seem like other people are also having problems with their spaces:

I duplicated the space and it works as such

Yeah some people in the discussions I posted said if they create a new space with the same code then it doesn't have the issue, but I would think if I did that then the leaderboard's likes would be reset to zero.
correct likes would be zero
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?" (I'm sorry)
You could try a factory reset (if you haven't already). I'm not sure if it would solve this issue, but it shouldn't make it any worse either.
When I tested it on a duplicated space (which was already working by virtue of being a dupe, I know), but factory resetting it didn't break anything, or take away any likes, so... worth a try.
You can also try messing with these (if the space even uses it)
Maybe generating a new token and using that.
i... can't think of anything else... good luck!
Restarting and factory rebuilding it doesn't fix it, and yeah the space doesn't use variables or secrets. I tried renaming the space, but that didn't do anything either.
Hmm... consider calling HF support (if you haven't already), it is likely a safer and easier troubleshooting step.
BUT, if you want to try something else, consider this:
You got a local copy of this, right? Like, a backup of what is on this repo?
You could try emptying the space (by deleting the files in it) and see if the error goes away after restarting the (by then) completely empty space.
After, you can reup all the files back at once, and let the space run again...

Someone found a fix.
Switching to a different Space Hardware, then switching back fixed it. Guess it was just some weird hugging face hardware bug.

i was wrong about "nothing serious"
